Perry's on the Embarcadero

Went for lunch today. The restaurant is nice and cozy with great views of the bay bridge. Too bad the food was not as great. Service was mediocre. Will be returning for drinks but not for the food.

The staff is friendly and the food is great. A very nice drink selection. Everything is done well and you can't beat the location literally feet from the bay.

I typically go to Perry's for lunch on weekends. Good selection on the menu, beers on tap & reasonably priced for the city. Lots of seating inside and a good number of tables outside with great view of the Bay Bridge. There are heat lamps outside in case it gets cold. Great option if you have dogs with you and parking is also usually available within a block on weekends.

Good spot w great service and pretty ok food... Would do it again. Burger is the standard here. Classic.

Definitely recommend the pot roast! It was absolutely delicious. The service was great. Music was a bit too loud (and I'm rarely one to say that), but otherwise the atmosphere was nice.

Apparently we came in the back entrance but didn't know. There were no signs about where to find a host to seat us. Service was very slow and some dishes a bit dirty. The food was mediocre but I guess it's adorable for the area. The foam on the latte was very amateur. I make it better at home.

I really enjoyed this spot! It’s right down by The Embarcadero with ample places to park (some parking garages nearby). It’s a nice area too with a view of The Embarcadero from the restaurant so you can walk around after you finish your meal. The food was really good quality and actually not too pricey, which surprised me because this comes off as a pretty upscale looking place. Came here for brunch and they had a good menu selection and we really enjoyed our service - I would definitely go back

We had our office holiday party there, very good service, but honestly I was expecting better food. Loved the view!

Decent price for the yummy food! Love the penne pasta 🍝 sauce and garlic bread 🥖... Good location!

This is my fav spot to walk to. Best place ever day or night I love to sit here. It’s so beautiful and at night you do t really hear the city life. Just the ocean so I love it. Also the seats spin!! Your welcome!!

We love this place. Very child friendly the menu was very child friendly and the food and service was excellent. Our server Brian was extremely on top of everything as well as the entire staff. Highly recommend this place for an American dining experience

Perry's is the place you go to in SF for an amazing bite without breaking the bank. The food is comforting, having everything from.felicious burgers to juicy, handcut steaks. Never be afraid to dine alone here, as the bar conversations are welcoming as well as the locals who frequent here often.

Waterfront outpost of a bar/restaurant which has been a San Francisco tradition for over 50 years. May we all age as well as Perry has!

The burger was absolutely delicious! Who knew something so basic, completely transform into this something so delightful. Mac and cheese was super tasty and the cottage chips were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and great view of the bay bridge.

Great place, great bar, warm atmosphere...still has that SF feel

The food and service are delightful and you can’t argue with the wonderful view If you are lucky enough to score an outside table (availability and weather permitting)

Dinner was good. Service was pretty good. The shrimp fettuccine was awesome. Seabass was delicious. Poke was out of this World!

I stayed in Hotel Griffon for four days and ate here twice, once in the dining room and once as room service, and was pleased both times. In the dining room, I got the grilled artichoke and the beet salad. The beet salad is a large, densely-packed bowl of greens with beets and marcona almonds and avocado with shockingly tasty goat cheese croquettes and a delicious dressing; the grilled artichoke isn't as mind-blowing as the one at Sawyer in Seattle, but still very good. (In case it wasn't clear, the beet salad is basically all the foods I like put together, and got it for room service a few days later.) Service was good; there's a large but not overwhelming selection of wines, and people-watching was fun. In the springtime the patio is probably delightful!

Very good bar. Half price bottles of wine the night we were there. Good vibe, food looked good, good crowd.

Steak was awesome! Just not what I ordered...fumble recovered, they gave me a free shirt and it looked like the gentleman next to us was enjoying my steak ;). Great view anytime of day!

Went for business meeting with three others which happened to be during their happy hours. Nice selection of appetizers. We selected calamari and potato sticks both were very good.

Had the most AMAZING and REAL clam chowder I've ever had! Lunch portions are very generous

Great beer list and food was strong. It can get very busy and bar area can be quite loud. Recommend this amongst the many Embarcadero lunch sit down options for a good price point and then can get you in and out without feeling rushed

This place has fine food but a spectacular view of the bridge if you are lucky to sit outside especially on a nice day. Nothing exciting or different about the food but sometimes you just want a well made buffalo chicken sandwich with garlic fries and this is a fine place to get that.

Opens early. Near the ferry. Great service and food.

Went for lunch and the water recommended the special. We all went for it and it was superb!

I cannot wait to go back! Potato Skins on point, crispy bacon, tons of cheese, perfect potato texture.Chili is traditional & flavorful. The usual with bell peppers, onions and cheese. Mac & Cheese!! Yes! Creamy, American mac & cheese with light breadcrumbs & parsley on top. Not over-baked or greasy! Its excellent, the best I've had in the city yet!

The drinks were very good! The bartender makes a mean whiskey sour,,, better then the Palace Hotel $32 but only $8 at Perry's.

Decent enough place. The place setting is very cozy and clean. We ordered some appetizers and I ordered the ahi burger. The ahi burger was pretty good. You can tell the fish was fresh and the cook had seared it well leaving just enough tenderness to enhance the experience. Service was also very good. However, the calamari appetizer brings the rating down for me because the calamari appeared to be undercooked or otherwise just hard to chew. I expect more from a kitchen in such a location and price point. Overall, definitely recommend the place and hope the calamari deal was just a bad batch.

I had an average experience here. I came here for dinner with a few friends. Our waitress was very “out of it”- she forgot our drink orders, and messed up one of the dinner orders. Her overall demeanor was strange. Outside of the service, the ambience was nice and the food was pretty good too! I think if the service had been better, our experience would have been quite different.

Went for a company event. Their tomato bisque was creamy and the cheeseburger was also cooked perfectly. I gotta say their fries were the highlight for me because they were just the right amount of crispiness!

The bartenders are very friendly and offer a wide range of beverages. I recommend the buffalo chicken tenders or the Caesar (add salmon) if you're hungry!

Excellent service, late on a Sunday night. I got the perryy burger, I think that is what it is called, and it was amazing. I'm a bigger guys and it was the right amount of food. Will eat here again

Decent food, good drinks, took a very very long time. They delivered my food after everyone else was almost done, it was just a standard burger, then didn't offer anything for the delay. Might want to be a little more proactive with your customer experience.

We've been here a couple times while visiting the city. Service has always been spot on. The food was so-so in 2017 (some of the ribs were a bit dry and difficult to chew) but was amazing in 2019 (calamari, sweet potato fries were crispy and fish was excellent!).

Grilled salmon and new England can chowder. Solid but nothing amazing. I wish I could give 3.5 stars instead of 3.

It was actually really packed when we went. There was a conference in town and it is part of a hotel so that would explain the crowd. Food and drinks were ok, we had chicken strips and sweet potato fries. But it was really hot inside. We were hoping for a patio or bar table, did get a bar table that was awkwardly in the center of the room so you felt like you were kind of in the way of everyone who passed by. I would definitely go back and request a patio table.

Had the "prime rib" special. Only it wasn't special. It was tasteless as were the mashed potatoes. The green was a quarter of a pickle. I've had better at Perry's
